Recipe: Easy Baked Tilapia

We've made this dish two times now, and it is easy, healthy, inexpensive and delicious! The clean up is a breeze also!  I got the recipe from this internet site here .

Ingredients:
4 (4 ounce) fillets tilapia

2 teaspoons butter (real butter is supposedly better for you than stick margarine, no trans fat!)
1/4 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning TM, or to taste
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt, or to taste
1 lemon, sliced
Frozen broccoli

Directions:

1.Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.



2.Place the tilapia fillets in the bottom of the baking dish and dot with butter. Season with Old Bay seasoning and garlic salt. Top each one with a slice or two of lemon. Arrange the frozen mixed vegetables around the fish, and season lightly with salt and pepper.


3.Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the pre-heated oven.

Variations:We only had 3 filets. I used Season All because we didn't have any Old Bay seasoning. Also, I didn't season the brocolli with salt and pepper, it didn't need it in our opinion. We served it with long grain wild rice (Uncle Ben's 5 minute fast cooking rice tastes the same as the 25 min. rice we usually use)



Looks delicious, right! Funny story: We let Graham try a little of the lemon, and he made the funniest face and high-pitched noise. I  really wish we would've had the camera rolling! We laughed so hard it scared him and he started crying! Poor kid. I ate the leftovers for lunch today, and it was just as good as last night.
