10 Weeks

How Far Along: 10 Weeks

Size of baby: A prune

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Lost about 6-7 pounds!

Maternity Clothes: Bought a black maternity skirt which I am loving but not really  needed yet, pants are getting a little snug but still button fine.

Gender: We both still feel like the baby is a girl...Either way we'll be thrilled!

Movement: No movement, but I can't wait to feel our little one saying hello!

Sleep: Sleeping great, except for having to get up to pee.

What I miss: Nothing I'm really missing right now pre-pregnancy wise. I do miss cloudy days, cool weather, and thunderstorms. This drought is torture.

Cravings: Sweets, chocolate, water
Symptoms: frequent peeing, sore boobs, gagging randomly while grocery shopping or opening the pantry.

Best Moment this week: Bought the baby a rocking chair from Goodwill for $25!!! It's really nice, and we plant to paint it according to the nursery! :)

Best comment of the week: Lots of people have been telling me how great/thin I look, which is so nice!! Guess morning sickness has a few perks ;)

What I'm looking forward to: Starting to show, cooler weather, finding out the gender, decorating the nursery, taking maternity pictures & meeting our sweet baby!!! Pretty much everything! :)

Milestones: This week is somewhat of a landmark for your developing baby. By now, your babys complete body plan is laid down. Your baby will continue to develop and grow for the remainder of the pregnancy. The fingers and toes have separated and the tail has disappeared now. Your baby has taste and tooth buds at this point, which will continue to develop. The brain will continue to grow at an amazing rate and nearly a quarter of a million new neurons are produced every minute! The embryonic heart is completely developed. External genitalia are not apparent until next week, but the testes in baby boys will already be producing testosterone.
