San Antonio Trip: Part 2

Saturday we woke up early, ate breakfast in the hotel and headed to Sea World! We got passes for Sea World only and not the water park. We figured the kids would only last through one and the Sesame Street play area had a splash pad for toddlers right there in the Sea World park, which was perfect for us.

The first thing we did was go see the Shamu show and then the dolphin and beluga whale show. I was surprised at how much the kids loved it! Claire slept through most of the Shamu show, but Graham was in heaven. Watching his amazement was so fun!!They both loved the dolphin/beluga show. The acrobats were fun and they loved watching the parrots fly around.

After the shows, Chad and I took turns riding a few roller coasters. We bought the fast passes so we didn't have to wait in line, and it worked out really well. Then we grabbed lunch and took the kids to the Sesame Street play area which had a huge play area with water and splash pads and rides for the kids. We rode the carousel about 3 times and Graham got to ride a couple of the other rides, too. Then we cooled them off in the splash pad and they passed out in the stroller after that. We took turns riding a few more roller coasters and then headed back to the hotel. Such a fun day!

We finished off the night eating dinner at the Rain Forest CafĂ©  on the River walk. Mainly because we knew the kids would enjoy it and it was super close to our hotel... we were all wiped out.

The next morning, we ate breakfast, packed up our car and walked about a block to the Alamo. We just walked around and took some pictures, then headed out of town when the kids started losing it.

Such a fun little getaway! I love trips like these, it's so fun to me to make these sweet family memories.

Sea world is so much fun. Claire is getting so big. Love the picture of her reaction during the dolphin show. Looks like she was really enjoying it.
